Hinges are also made with stainless steel pins (rather than steel), so they won’t rust or bend over time.

Amplimesh door and window screens use only high quality aluminium for their heavy duty frames that are manufactured to comply with AS/NZS Standard 1866.

Our Amplimesh Security Grilles have also been tested for material hardness, ensuring that the force required to sever the cords in each product meets or exceeds the requirements of the AS5041 standard.

Grille Styles

The 103 Series is the original, premium grille style and remains the most popular design and number one choice of security door screens, for over 1 million households throughout Australasia. Additionally the 125 Series grille is available for commercial settings or where a finer profile grille is required, such as if you are trying to stop a child's small fingers from being able to reach locks. 

Pet Resistant Mesh

Pets are important members of the family, but their claws can quickly ruin your the insect mesh on your new security door!  Pet owners are recommended to upgrade their insect screen mesh, on Amplimesh® grille security doors, to a Pet Resistant Mesh. Made of strong vinyl coated polyester, this heavy duty insect mesh offers good outdoor visibility and extra resistance to the damage caused by pets’ claws or scratching. 

Pet Access Doors

Made from UV stabilized plastic with a hinged magnetic closing mechanism, pet access doors are the ideal way to allow your pet complete freedom to move in and out of your home, while your security door is in use.

Available in black or white, access doors come in three sizes - Small 240mm high x 190mm wide; Medium 305mm high x 225mm wide; Large 400mm high x 260mm wide.

Note: Pet Access Doors are NOT recommended on any screen doors leading onto a swimming pool.

One Way Vision Mesh

If you are looking for extra privacy, including the ability to see who is at your door without being seen by visitors, you can request Look Out™ One Way Vision Mesh. This mesh acts as an alternative to standard or pet resistant insect screening and the punched, rather than woven aluminium screen, can be powder coated to match the joinery, or installed in black to replicate the look of a traditional screened door. 

Keep Smaller Bugs Out

Midge Mesh is also an option to be fitted with a Grille. Finer and with much smaller holes it will keep smaller insects out of the home.
